General information

The workshops are led by Reuben Kay who has trained in group facilitation. Each workshop is unique and they are rarely the same. They are ideal for people of all faiths and none. From individuals to community groups, from education to health care.

Whether you are a beginner or have more experience in clowning and or acting. You may discover fun, laughter and humour by reconnecting to innocence and simplicity. For some people the journey of the Sacred Clown is an ongoing learning process. Some people come for one workshop, others may spend a year or more gently immersing themselves.

The background of past students varies from care workers, teachers, writers, drama students, professional clowns, alternative health practitioners, therapists, psychologists and children.

In these interactive workshops we will begin with gentle warm up exercises, using the breath, voice and soft movement. We will spend time listening to the quiet space inside and gradually through play, explore a range of emotions such as joy, empathy and more.

For a deeper experience, it is recommended to attend a two day workshop where dance, stillness, meditation, mime, clowning, improvisation, the red nose and our creativity will support and lead us to discover a sense of a playful and healing presence.

Whether for children or adults of all ages. If you are interested in booking a short workshop from one to four hours and or a performance for your organisation, do get in touch and feel free to discuss your requirements.
