Mime Clown Workshops
For adults of all ages
Reconnect to the playful child within, through the imagination
of the clown and the world of mime. In these fun and interactive workshops
we will begin with soft gentle warm up exercises, using the breath, voice
and physical movement.
We will spend time listening to the quiet space inside
and gradually through play, explore a range of
emotions such as joy, sadness, empathy, boredom, shyness and more. Dance,
stillness, mime, improvisation, clowning and our creativity will support
and lead us to discover a sense of playful presence. Make-up and costumes
will be explored on future workshops.
Cost: One day workshop £55 (deposit £25) First day only
(limited numbers)
Cost: Two day workshop £100 (deposit £35)
The deposit is non-refundable.
Lunch is not provided, except where stated.
The workshop at Claridge House, 27
February to 1 March, 2009 is £170 inclusive of full board.
Shorter workshops (1-4 hours) are available and can be
tailored to your needs and held at your venue, please ask for details. When
making an enquiry, do give as much information as possible, e.g. size of
group, age range and where you are based.
